Our standard turn around time can be up to 2 weeks. This is most common at the beginning of each season when we have a large influx of forms to process. Outside of a launch week - in most cases you will hear back within 7 days. Don't forget to check your junk mail, the email fairies are not always kind to our domain.

If you are accepted into the markets, you will receive an email notification that specifies the exact dates you have been approved or waitlisted for.

Your approval email will also include a link to our payments page which will correspond to your approved dates. You have 7 days to process your payments.

To pay for your stall you will need to do this via our online system, you may use debit/credit card. Please ensure you use the same email that you applied with at check out as this ensures all your transactions, receipts and invoices are stored in the booking system.

Once approved, you will be sent a notification that includes a payment link. Once you pay for each date, you will be issued an email receipt.

If we cancel:

Should The Market Folk events be cancelled in advance due to reasons of emergency, danger, weather conditions, thunderstorms, severe wind, heatwaves, safety, health concerns (this includes COVID19), or other reasons that are not in reasonable control of The Market Folk organisers within 2 weeks prior to a market - there will be no refunds or credits given. There are no exceptions to this rule due to the costs incurred by us whether a market goes ahead or not. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

If you cancel:
If a vendor forfeits their stall booking within 14 days prior to an event, no refund or credits will be given. If a stallholder provides more than 14 days  notice, a 50% credit can be transferred towards another market date. If a vendor cancels on the day or for weather concerns (no matter the product or stall category) there will be no credits or refunds issued. A business that can no longer attend a market may not replace their own booking with another business and request a refund. This is at the discretion of Market Folk Organisers to replace stalls. Due to the administration required, we do not offer refunds even if we manage to replace your stall. 

Weather Refund Policy:
There will be no refunds or credits issued should The Market Folk Markets be cancelled due to reasons of emergency, danger, weather conditions, safety, health concerns, or other reasons that are not in reasonable control of the The Market Folk organisers (as deemed and only when announced by the The Market Folk organisers) There are general costs, advertising costs, permits and many hours that go into an event that we cannot offer refunds or credits for reasons outside of the organisers control.

If the weather deteriorates throughout the event the vendor will not be entitled to a refund or credit. The Market Folk make every effort to open the market. However, if we are unable to open or trade the full trading time even after bump-in then no credits or refunds will be given.

Yes - you may apply month to month if that suits your needs best. Please note that you may only be added to waitlists if our dates are sold out. 

At most of our locations you can apply for either a 3x3m marquee stall (take note of approved colours per location) OR a table only stall which are 2mx 1m in size (you can use racks or other equipment as long as it fits within 2mx1m and these positions rarely have any cover so you are able to bring a 2x2m umbrella to cover yourself and your stall). Stall types can be selected in the application form below. 

Please note Gasworks has a mix of grass and concrete - if you can't trade on grass please email us ahead of time.

How exciting you are new to business! We are so glad you have chosen us to be part of your journey. You will need a photo of your set up to trade at our events - there are no exceptions to this rule. We understand that everyone has to start somewhere, so if you do not have a photo from a market event that you setup everything at home and send us a photo from there. Please do not contact us asking for an exception with photos of your products.
